About CCC

History

CCC, Inc. began life in 1993 out of a small garage in Davis, CA. Having grown bored as an engineer in the aerospace industry (BSME '85), Clay T. Carrier used his expertise in lightweight composites manufacturing to began building items such as wing strut fairings, honeycomb floor panels, and engine cowls in his free time. Word spread among the professional motorcycle racing community that an aerospace composites engineer was able to create and develop lightweight components for racing applications, and Clay began production for a select group of race teams - creating parts which reduced weight, and helped win championships. Thus, Clay Carrier Composites, Inc. was born.
